Dance has been an integral part of human culture throughout its history. Nowadays, it is less recognized by the younger generation. The main purpose of World Dance Day Celebration is to attract the attention of the wider public to the art of dance. Hence, every year, we celebrate this World Dance Day, by inviting one of the very renowned artistes.
This year, we have invited Pt. Rajendra Ganganiji (Delhi). He is a National level artist and has received the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2003, the highest award for contribution to Indian performing arts.
