Our Regular Programmes
The Chitnavis Centre organises regular programmes and activities for public at large. These cover a range of cultural and other activities. They range from Classical music to Semi Classical music to Dance and Theatre. The Centre also organises presentations, film screening, yoga self defense classes, etc.
Some of the regular feature programmes held at the Centre are :-
ABHIWACHAN
Abhiwachan is a programme of short story telling or play reading by local artistes.
ABHIVYAKTI
ABHIVYAKTI was conceived to provide a platform for local theatre artistes from Vidarbha. Hindi or Marathi plays are regularly staged by local artistes.
PARAMPARA
PARAMPARA is a platform which organises intellectual forums to discuss and share the wisdom, knowledge and rationale of traditional Indian customs and beliefs.
MUDRA
MUDRA is a platform for the appreciation of all performing arts. The centre organises performances, talks, lectures and presentations on various classical dance forms.
TRAVELLER’S ADDA
TRAVELLER’S ADDA is a forum to share travel experiences. Presentations, groups discussions and panel discussions are organised regularly to learn about fascinating new travel destinations in India and abroad.
