Under the banner “Abhivyakti”, Chitnavis Centre in association with VMV College had organised a theatrical performance of very famous novel “Suraj Ka Satva Ghoda”, written by the legendary writer Dharmaveer Bhartee. This was staged on Friday, 13th March 2020, at Banyan Hall, Chitnavis Centre. The performance was directed by Dr. Parag Ghonge and conceptualized by Associate Professor of Hindi Department of VMV College, Dr. Sonu Jeswani. Suraj Ka Satva Ghoda narrates various love stories and the narrator Manik Mulla us a part of every story. The stories stated the discriminatory treatment received by Indian women since ancient times. In every story, the sufferer is a woman. Shantanu Soni, Nirmitee Jivantare, Gaurav Raut, Aishwarya Bawne, Kartik Rao, Kalpana Mishra, Omprakash Sahu, Satyajit Hirekhan, Omkar Kale, Vikas Tripathi and Loknath Ganbior gave full justice to Dr. Ghonge’s story.
Kishor Battase handled the lights, Aabhas Pendharee did the musical score and Roshan Nandwanshi created the sets.
